RRF is a very casual and relaxed adventure. Although it is not required that you get dirty, and you can avoid getting dirty (just ask Sherri), it is fun to get a bit dirty like summer camp. We do change clothing often throughout the day and evening, so plan accordingly. With that being said, here is a list of suggested clothing items to wear / bring:
Due to the nature of the activities, it is not recommended to wear your nice Lulu clothes or fancy Jordans. You know who you are!
We try to have everything one would need to enjoy themselves while at RRF, but here are some additional items you might consider bringing:
We know that dining at RRF is a big part of the day, and we try to accommodate all dietary requirements. Although we have a new gourmet kitchen, we usually prefer to grill outside on the gas grill or Blackstone as much as possible.
Feel free to be creative and suggest new and fun meals. We are very easy when it comes to eating and very open to trying new things as long as they don't have:
Green Peppers
Yellow Peppers
Red Peppers
Kalamata Olives
Too much cilantro
Only meat
Only shrimp
Too many fake ingredients
Too spicy
Not enough spice
Too much seasoning
Not enough seasoning
Too much sauce
Not enough sauce
Other than that, we are really easy.
RRF is geared towards all family members, but just like bringing young kids....you are responsible for watching your dogs. With the addition of a a new fence at RRF you can rest comfortably knowing your pup can run around within a fenced in area. Please note that if they are not in the fenced in area there are plenty of distractions and wildlife that could be intriguing to your pups, and they may be enticed to run off and chase the deer, wild turkey, squirrels, run through the creek, dive into the pond and maybe even chase an ATV. We do bring Luna and Millie, but they are on an invisible fence that we have installed down there.
All bedroom suites have their own private bathroom with modern day amenities. That does not mean that you can't pee outside if you want....it is a common occurrence and does help you feel one with nature. Feel free to mark your territory.. David is trying to mark all 100 acres.
